Adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) are being verbally, fiscally, physically, and sexually abused. The abuse is prevalent and pervasive, it happens in many ways, and it happens repeatedly to victims with all types of disabilities.(1)

But first we must know & see the signs, and then report it.

Sudden changes in the physical, behavioral or financial status of someone with an intellectual and/or developmental disability (I/DD) may be indicators of abuse, neglect or exploitation.
